Micro Expression Detection & Analysis for Mediators
One of the key skills of a mediator is to facilitate parties in dispute to discover the underlying issues driving their conflict, and to frame the issue around what it would mean to each party to not be feeling the constant stress, and for them not to be facing a lengthy and very costly litigation.
Almost always, there are strong emotional drivers and often these are not directly related to the subject of conflict presented, and they can also be predominantly unconscious to the party's themselves.
Imagine how useful it would be to be able to recognise signs or 'tells' that indicate the real underlying emotion being felt by each party; signs that cannot be faked nor avoided. These are micro expressions and they last for less than half a second on the face, controlled by our unconscious in our limbic system in our brain.
These micro expressions are universal across genders, races and cultures, and we have no control over them.
In this course, you will learn about the 8 primary emotional indicators, how to identify them, what they tell us, and also more importantly, what they DON'T tell us. You will get the chance to try out your skills on images at the start of the day, and again at the end to highlight your progress.

The course is run for private groups (minimum 4, maximum 10) at a total cost of £899, or as a public course when sufficient participants reserve a place (minimum 6, maximum 10) at a cost of £189 per participant.
